The Motto is simple. Four Cars, Not a Mechanic, What could possibly go wrong?

I am firm believer that you have to challenge yourself each day.

This project will be challenging on so many levels.  Pictured here is a 1947 Triumph Roadster 1800.  Named Silvia.  She runs. Although right now the dash has been removed for repair and I am looking for a shop to rebuild the gauges while I rework the dash.

The dash is 80 year old plywood with Veneer that was mostly peeled off.  For this restoration I am going a little bit off the wall.  I have repaired the dash and will Scan the dash then 3D print the dash in either ABS or ASA.  A member of my car club is also a hydro dipper.  We plan to dip the new dash and other wood parts to look like Burlwood.

With any project, you find things that just don't sit right.  With the dash I found several wires cut and most of the connections on the starter switch loose.  With the help of Ossip from the UK Triumph club, I was able to enlarge the wiring diagram.  I have ordered enough wire from British Wiring to replace the harness.
